City of Praise statement of faith

• We believe the entire bible to be the infallible word of God Almighty; “the I AM” written by inspired men of God.
• We believe there is one God omnipotent, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Spirit.
• We believe that how one is cleansed from sin is by repentance through confession and sanctified in the precious blood of Jesus Christ through faith.
• We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is necessary for personal salvation.
• We believe that the suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is for our redemption and that by His stripes we are healed.
• We believe in water Baptism by emersion which signifies the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
• We believe that Baptism of the Holy Spirit is given by God to believers, according to Acts 2:4.
• We believe in the absolute power of sanctification by the Holy Spirit, that enables a Christian to live a righteous and separated life in the earth.
• We believe in the blessed Hope, the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ Jesus, at His return.
